Google signals uses data from users who have signed into Google with Google signals enabled. Analytics associates the event data it collects from users on your site with the Google accounts. Signed-in users have consented to sharing this information. See our Privacy Policy.

Enabling Google signals is quite simple! You don’t need to make any changes to your website or app for this feature. To enable this feature, follow the instructions in the ‘ Help Center article ‘ (see link below) to update your property settings.

Analytics also automatically uses device ID as an identity space. On websites, the device ID comes from the user’s browser. On apps, the device ID comes from the app instance ID. You don’t need any further setup in Analytics to use device ID.

You can learn more about how to activate Google’s Signals.
